Career Exploration
This event recognizes those FBLA-Middle Level students who are working toward improving their knowledge of career opportunities
Eligibility & National Recognition
Each state may submit the top two (2) participants (grades 5 through 9) who are on record as members of active local FBLA Middle-Level chapters at the FBLA-PBL National Center as having paid dues by 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time on March 1 of the current school year. The winners will be recognized on the national FBLA-PBL Website.
Overview
Guidelines
The objective may include questions on skills, career plans, career goals, job searches, job aplications, cover letters, resumes, interiews, Occupational Outlook Handbook, and basic career education.
The state chapter will administer this event either by school site-testing or at a conference.
A 45-minute objective test will be administered based on the competencies listed in the description.
Participants must furnish their own number two (2) pencils and erasers.
